FTISLAND is already a band which has debuted for 6 years. The band image, which was created by the company, has been following FTISLAND like a tag. In fact, the past 6 years have been a struggling period to tear off this tag.
"If the fans felt it, we will feel even angrier, even more upset. Now, we have come to the time when we are to present a stronger band feel. This is an album with a 3-year gap. In fact, in FTISLAND's 4th regular album, "FIVE TREASURE BOX", apart from the hit song, "I Wish", recorded were the members' self-written songs, LIFE, Compass, Paper Plane, Let It Go, Wanna Go and other songs. The compromise was that the hit song (would not be their own), but there would be many of their own songs recorded in the album.

So we practice a lot, improving our performance potential, writing more songs, etc. We keep working hard to find a way, but in reality, the areas in which we are criticized are partially true." In fact, they, in the music world, with the identity of a band, have no right answers when looking for the method to seek approval. To FTISLAND, this is the only cruel tag.

This goes to show the angst-filled voices of the members regarding their freedom to do activities with their self-created status as musicians in an environment, towards an environment where they are not being able to perform live at shows.
"We also told the programmes many times, requested for us to perform live. But until now, it is still not something easily achievable. It feels like we have to show more to those people, and then attain their approval. We hope that our seniors can help us, and the juniors who are making bands can step out to create an environment where there can be live performances." (Song Seunghyun)
FTISLAND fans are all very well-behaved(?)
"Before, if we do things which do not resemble what idols do, the fans will feel disappointed and leave. But now, slowly, at our perfomances, they will also respond to the dirty things we say or do. No doubt, the fans will change together with us." (Lee Jaejin)
